Traditional graphical user interfaces and mission displays have often been designed around specific rendering architectures and hardware platforms, creating dependencies that can be difficult to manage across the 10- to 30-year lifecycles that are common across aerospace, defense, and industrial programs. Lynx RenderCore removes these constraints and gives system architects choice and flexibility to seamlessly deploy graphics workloads across CPU, dedicated GPU, or hybrid architectures.
Architectural Freedom: Modern Graphics on Any Silicon
Because Lynx RenderCore provides portability across open rendering backends, teams can write once and target CPU software rendering, or Vulkan, as well as OpenGL over Vulkan, on the GPU. It also taps the growing power of modern x86 and Arm-based processors from multiple semiconductor manufacturers (AMD, Intel and Arm, for instance), to take on graphics and display work that once required dedicated graphics hardware.
